Field Trips for ARGeo-C5
The Fifth African Rift Geothermal Conference.
Post Conference
The ARGeo-C5 Post Conference Field Trips have been scheduled as from the 1st to the 2nd fo November 2014. This will be at the Ngorongoro Crater Lake at Manyara National Park. The trip will be a 2 days and 1 night trip by road, with a standard rate per person of 500 US Dollars (USD)
There will be an early bird registraion discount of 450 USD for those who registered before 30th September 2014.
On Request only
These will feature either Mbeya-Ngozi and Songwe Field Trip or Menengai-and-Olkaria Field Trip. The Mbeya-Ngozi and Songwe field trip will be a one day trip by air with a capacity of 30 people. The cost for this trip is 1000 US Dollars (USD) only.
On the other hand is a 2 days and 2 nights trip to Menengai and Olkaria. This will be at a cost of 600 USD and with a minimum number of 7 participants.
Accompanying persons
Field Excursion for accompanying persons entail: -
(a)DAY ONE: USD 120- The package includes entrance fee for National Park, Transport and packed lunch.
(b)DAY TWO: USD 100- The package includes Transport and Packed Lunch.
The registration fee for the main conference will be 500 USD for International partcipants and 400 USD for African participants. These fee will be for all conference facilities (bags, giveaways, proceedings of papers (CD) etc and Lunch, official dinners) [...]
